Ok, I know who Brenda is talking about now. The Coca-cola guy. Jeremy I don't know why she had to make him out to be such a mystery.

We've spoken before in passing. You know, like "hello" "Its so hot outside.." Just mundane conversation.

He's kind of cute. Cute in a different way. Kind of in an old fashioned way, I guess. I mean, its not he's got a really short haircut, but not a long one, either. Its sort of orginal, actually. No color products of the kind. More like Jim's hair from The Office, but not as long as Andy Samberg's shaggydo.

So yeah, we talked, a little. Or what I could. You know, how's your weekend...and what are you gonna do on the 4th. That kind of thing.

He kept smiling at me. And I smiled back. It was, um, nice.

I think he's a little older than most guys I date. Not that he's 30-something or anything. 20-something.

I mean, we might not even go out. But I'm just thinking. He's older. Hopefully, mature, even. Only Brenda says not to count on that. Cause to her, guys are always immature.

I hope she's wrong about Jeremy. I hope he's different. Maybe we'll just keep talking. I really need someone like that right now. And if we're just friends, thats good. Right?
